| Ah, the fickleness of live television. One day you're slated to be on TV, the next you're unceremoniously booted off before you even get to meet Matt Lauer. (Oh, the humanity!)But that was yesterday -- Today is tomorrow. Which is to say, Grist's Katharine Wroth is making her way back to the Today show studios for a guest appearance tomorrow morning. Be sure to tune in for a Grist-alicious good time. Katharine's segment is scheduled to air at 8:19 a.m., no matter what time zone ... |

| To all our devoted fans who sat in front of the TV this morning waiting for a Grist-tacular appearance on NBC's Today show, we apologize. Due to Today's relatively tight schedule and an earlier interview that ran overtime, Grist's Katharine Wroth was pulled from the show before she made it on stage. Alas, the world is a much less-informed place than it could have been.As a consolation, you can read some of the tips Katharine would have offered, now conveniently expunged of a ... |

'Mine's bigger' Me on Hannity & Colmes |

| Here I am on Hannity & Colmes, 21 Dec. 2007. Mark Steyn was sitting in for Sean Hannity. The other guest is Chris Horner of CEI. There's some satisfaction in taking shots at Horner and CEI. God knows they get off too easy most of the time. And watching Horner bumble around and make no sense is fun.He called me an 'alarmist' and decried ad hominem attacks in the same sentence. In a discussion of whether there's a scientific consensus, you are not allowed ... |

Watch more Fox News! FutureGen on at 5:00 p.m. Central, tonight |

| Fox News is doing a special report on the FutureGen project and -- rather remarkably -- couldn't find anyone to argue that $6500/kW coal-fired power coupled to a hydrogen plant is a dumb idea. Then along came Grist, and this crazy blogger who thinks FutureGen is dopey. The interview was last Friday; they're running the coverage tonight, in advance of tomorrow's decision on whether Illinois or Texas will 'win.' (Nice plug for Grist here, eh? Apparently, nowhere else ... |

Fox attacks the environment; I do a poor job defending it Videos for your viewing pleasure, if that's the word for it |

| Film director Robert Greenwald has been producing a series of videos exposing Fox News as a propaganda arm of the far right wing (is "exposing" the right word when everyone already knows it?), under the rubric Fox Attacks. The latest in the series is Fox Attacks: The Environment, which is about Fox's hackery on the subject of global warming. Here it is: Accompanying the video is a campaign by a grassroots coalition to spread the word about Fox's environm ... |

| This evening, I was on Fox's Hannity & Colmes discussing ... toilet paper. Yes, really. I'm sure my stiff, awkward performance will show up on YouTube sooner or later, so that's something to ... hm, 'look forward to' doesn't seem appropriate. Expect, then. |

Watch TV for Grist! Tell us when green bursts from the screen |
Katharine Wroth |
14 Feb 2007 |
Gristmill |
| For the second time in two nights, I was innocently watching bad TV when a green theme popped up. A gal can't get a break from her day job these days with so many producers rushing to prove their eco-cred. So how far-reaching is this trend?Figuring that out will either require me to watch way too much TV or it will require your help. Loyal Grist readers, I ask ye: please think of Grist each time green creeps into one of your favorite shows, and report it here.I'll ... |
