Appalachia can't stand anymore of the progress and prosperity of mountaintop removal, this is rarely discussed for some reason in the media concerning global warming issues. There are toxic sludge ponds all over Wise County and they want to build another one in Virginia City. If these things are kept safe and hushed up by Homeland Security, why are they on top of our homes, towns and schools ??? They can say all they want about Bush/Cheney keeping U.S. safe from another terrorist attack. Hannity and O'Reilly don't get it in their holier than thou patriotic America, what is being allowed to happen all across this beautiful nation is toxic terrorism. Our landscape is turning into a dried up moonscape with heavy metals from mine drainage going into The Big Sandy River Watershed. There's people and their kids living in this and it's time to put an end to it NOW.
For more info click my link: http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=138
