				<p><strong>Straddle</strong></p><p>He is trying to straddle the various issues, of course. &nbsp;It sounds like he feels he has to be pro-drilling to get elected in Alaska.</p><p>
In a state where almost all the electricity comes from diesel power, bankruptcy has to be pretty close for a lot of individuals, businesses, and communities.</p><p>
He seems to be on top of this. &nbsp;Good job keeping him on track Kate!

Then again, Anchorage holds 40% of the state's population, so if they like him as mayor, then maybe he'll get a good chance as senator...</p>
