So much for plugin taxis in NYC.  The plan now is to go all hybrid by 2012.  30 mpg instead of 14 mpg average they get now.

Plugin hybrids would get over 100 mpg.  Too bad almost no one knows the difference between hybrids, plugin electric vehicles, and plugin hybrids.  I'm sure the mayor has no clue about any of this.
