Vinyl Records

So obviously buying vinyl records is out, right? what about keeping the ones I have already? Is that dangerous/hazardous to my health?

Which Plastics Are Which?

In a previous column, Umbra suggested creating a rhyme to help one remember which plastics are better. I used part of her discarded rhyme and create this one to help myself:

1 and 2 are safe for you
4 and 5, you'll stay alive

Silly, but it worked. Now I don't even need the rhyme.

Way to remember plastics....

Okay here we go:
"Use 1, 2, 4, & 5 and you will stay alive."
"Use 3, 6, or 7, and you will go straight to heaven!"

Helps me to remember and I do now check the bottom of every plastic before use!

One question...if it is 3, 6, or 7 can I put it in the recycle bin or must I put in trash?
Thanks
