Why are they the bad guys?

This comment: "We have argued for five years now that efforts to build the clean energy economy needed to be centrally defined around energy independence not global warming." is 100% what needs to be done.

There is no Global WarmingTM -it's all a fear-mongering marketing trick. We are actually cooling down overall. To become strong again, financially and globally, the USA needs to become energy independent: as in drilling for our own oil and building more nuclear power plants. Only then will we become richer as a country and safer since we won't have to rely on so many of the countries that hate us for our oil. We can flip the tables and sell our oil to them, naming our price.

GlobalWarmingInc

And which one are you? Shellenberg or Nordhaus?

We need renewable energy now -- nuclear plants require 20 years to build and has a more dubious return on energy invested than most people believe.

As to the science, it is clear what is happening. If you ever stepped outdoors you might see for yourself. Even teenagers here tell me winters are like they used to be.

i don't get it...

"As to the science, it is clear what is happening. If you ever stepped outdoors you might see for yourself. Even teenagers here tell me winters are like they used to be."

I'm not getting your meaning with the above statement. Are you saying it's not getting Globally warmer, and that our winters are pretty much what they've always been (within NORMAL variances)?

I think it's both funny and sad that an opinion like mine and others refuting the corrupt and sensationalist "science" behind the supposed Global WarmingTM is looked at as trollism here.

More and more of the "science" quoted here is being debunked by REAL science -not falsely read computer models and other fear-mongering tactics to scare you to go green.

For scientists, it's a fact that you can get greatly funded just by including Global WarmingTM in your grant request, no matter what you're studying. That, to me, is startlingly sad.
