I was a member of CSPI from waaaaay back.  I quit supporting them when they sold out to Rockefeller Foundation money and started backing genetically tampered food.

I am so saddened to see CSPI has sunk to this level. I was a reader a long time ago and this was not how they were back in the 90s. They should change their name to something more suitable to their methodology. Maybe, Center for Science in the PROFIT Interest.

Actually, if you visit http://www.cspinet.org/about/funding.html which is CSPI's list of funders, you will find out that CSPI has been funded by the Rockefeller Family Fund since the organization's inception in 1971. And since then, CSPI has received funding from several Rockefeller organizations (Rockefeller Foundation and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors).

Oh my God. They've also been funded by the Wallace Genetic Foundation (a biotech front) since 1971. CSPI is a front for the biotech industry.
