Amusing, but...

Hmm, I'm not sure the "vegansexual" thing is a good idea. I have lots of friends who've influenced their partners to go veggie, or at least eat a lot less meat/dairy/eggs. The jokes about your diet when you first start dating an omnivore are definitely annoying, but typically they start to understand your point of view over time and often change their diets too.

amc89 is right-- it happened to me

My girlfriend was a vegetarian when we first started dating over 2 years ago. Not too long after, I became a vegetarian, too, without any prodding on her part. I learned from her actions rather than her having to criticize me.

A year later, we both decided to go vegan, and here we are now :)

vegan luv

judging by the respondents in the study, the ratio of vegan/veg women to men is as off there as it is here.

i have to agree with the people at PETA that conversion is a girl's best option because there are so few veg/vegan men in the U.S - and your friends have probably already slept with them all.

Scouts' honour??

Perhaps this was incorrectly linked to the wrong story, but the article that your pithy quip referred to was about the Guides (who are young females), and not the Scouts (who are young males). I would hazard a guess that most Scouts would still prefer to learn how to light things on fire, and take field trips to the local video arcade.
