... if this was ever going to get picked up.  I thought the "blah, blah, blah" was incredibly flippant, not just from an environmental point of view, but from a public safety perspective.  Is it now considered extremist to want a nuclear power plant to be safe?  I hope this is getting some traction in communities all around nuclear power plants.

Nuclear is Great, As Long As I'm Not Near The Waste
Midway through the interview he's asked: "What about the transportation?  Would you be comfortable with nuclear waste coming through Arizona on its way, you know going through Phoenix, on its way to uh Yucca Mountain?"

To which McCain shakes his head, gulps a little and responds, "No, I would not. No I would not."

I'd go one step further:  Would you be comfortable mining uranium and having your children and grandchildren doing so?  And would you be comfortable having your ecosystem destroyed by mining?
