The Godly must be crazy

Well at least the religious right buffoons must be (Crazy). If they believe in such a dismal future, why do they still have children, do these people know what kind of message they are sending to the younger generation? "Folks no hope, no future, so we don't need to do anything about what is revelant or present day crises because Jesus is a comin' and the end times are at hand." What a bunch of pathetic losers. And yes, it does act as a self fulfilling prophecy in many ways, alot of things don't happen without a human hand in it ,like "uh" wars, or depletion of natural resources, or the extinction of animals or other species and destruction of environment. I would say if these people have no hope for a future they must have some death wish, so why don't they just shoot themselves in the head or something. And since they have such a bleak outlook on the future why on earth are they bringing children into the world, not to have any ( Future)? They make no sense. But that is nothing new with the relgious right they are beyond reason. We are not helpless victims of unforseeable circumstances , we as human beings do alot to help mold and shape circumstances, so we have alot of power to turn things around for the better if we make that commitment and want to change things and have things turn out diffrently, but it takes the village, but of course not a village of fantical religious idiots. What a shame that they don't care enough to want to make a better future for their own children. It has always been the faith and endeavor of good people who wanted to change things for the better that have actually set out to accomplish those dreams and many times making them come true. They do accomplish something but people who are just waiting around for the rapture certainly aren't serving their God in any meaningful way. They are just selfish, self centered and nihilistic

The Godly must be crazy

I almost find this unbelievable. Unfortunately, as a religious person, I am familiar with the willingness for Christians to do Satans work for Jesus. Just like burning witches, hardcore Christians are always willing to lend a hand in the damnation of the human race. The social implications of rushing Doomsday aside, it's a moral sin to tarnish Gods works whether or not the big guys planning a big demo-project. Imagine... Jesus at the last supper; telling his desciples to remember him and his sacrifice. Oh, and by the way... in about 2000 years, I'm going to make it OK to poison children, since my dad is going to be making things better after.

The Godly must be crazy

Yeah this argument almost holds up. The fact that God has given us this world to take care of, inhabit, be fruitful and multiply shows that we should take care of the earth. "No one knows the day or the hour" of Christ's return shows that even though we might think that we're in the end times doesn't mean we are. You took a handful of Christians who "might" believe this and labeled all of us as believing it. How ignorant! Just like the media takes that one lunatic from Kansas who pickets funerals with "God hates fags" signs and draws the conclusion: "look all the Christians believe this!" when you generalize this happens!

"We want to rush Christ's coming by destroying the world that we live in? God does say we have moral responsibilities! And since when could we force God's hand to make him come sooner? He is God! If he doesn't want the end times to come now, then they wont! The thought that Christians are trying to pollute the earth to death and poison our children to bring about death and destruction to bring Christ here sooner is just preposterous. Ask any Christian, "do you think that we should destroy the world to make Christ come sooner?" oh yeah, let's just blow it all up because Yay, I WANT the apocalypse to come upon my children!!??? Like I said, we can't force God's hand and NOBODY not even the Son, knows the day or hour of his return.
