Mass Backwards

What an odd move, in light of all the initiatives statewide to reduce environmental impact:

Mass EOEA's (Exec Office of Environmental Affairs) year-long Sustainable Design Roundtable, where building authorities in the state are on the verge of agreeing to pursue LEED silver for all future state buildings.

MA DEP has just banned asphalt paving, brick, concrete, wood, and metal from landfills beginning 7/1/06.
