Buildings and Greenhouse Gases
While concern about greenhouse-gas emissions from oil refineries shouldn't be overlooked, we can't forget about the other contributors.

According to my client, the American Institute of Architects, buildings account for nearly 48 percent of the greenhouse gases related to electricity production nationally.

The AIA has created a program called DesignVote08 to raise awareness about the effect buildings have on the environment and inform the presidential candidates, Capitol Hill and voters of what can be done to support energy efficient design standards at the commercial and residential levels.

We would love to hear your thoughts on the program and greenhouse gas contributors, in general.
