Most of these calls for "transit" are efforts to built 19th century style linear transportation systems in a multipoint grid world.<p>
They can't work.<p>
They make things worse.<p>
They waste money.

				<p><strong>yes, always have a book</strong></p><p>I cannot stand this guy's style, and his admitted A+ personality type -- he richly deserves to be pushed onto the tracks -- , but he is right that fares should be lower. &nbsp;And he is right that you should never ever go anywhere without having something to read.

<p>Chickens are our cousins!
So are other sensitive animals!
Enough is enough!
No more factory farms!</p></p>
