What About Global Warming?

It seems like there's a simpler explanation.

Global temperatures have been increasing.

It would make sense that when a species senses "good times" it would want to breed faster and as soon as possible. Higher temperatures mean shorter growing seasons, more food, less need for insulating energy. ..over all a better time to procreate and spread.
