Good Start

The packaging industry causes much environmental harm, from the consumption of trees and oil to the creation of trash, and should be eliminated. This is a good start, just like taking canvass shopping bags to the store instead of consuming paper or plastic ones.

Recycle state-wide...

...In Texas, anyways.

Startin' next year, ALL computer manufactuers, be they big corps. or mom-and-pop, must offer free recycling of old computers to their customers.

Buy Bulk

I love the idea. Not only does it save resources in packaging, but also fuel for shipping. There is nothing more wasteful than excessive packaging. I notice it especially at the grocery store. That's why I like to buy bulk. There are some great co-ops where you can pretty much buy bulk everything from peanut butter to pasta. Bring your own reusable container and then there is no packaging at all.
