Chomsky was Pinker's mentor at MIT. Pinker is one of the fab four, along with Dawkins, Dennet, and Wilson. The Cover of Newsweek features this book along with the latest Republican scandal. A refreshing change of direction.

There's something unjustifiedly triumphalist about both these guys. Not great spokesmen for their fields, IMHO.
