british headlines

It's fun to compare headlines on the same story over at google news. With the Cheney shooting event, most US papers said tame things like "Vice President Wounds Fellow Hunter", while an oily Houston paper had the diverting "Hunting Accidents Fairly Rare." But the Independent (I believe) had "Dick Cheney Shoots Man in Face"

"...struggling to ride a bike"

Any article about the President and bicycles should at least mention his passion for cycling. I read an article in a cycling magazine about President Bush's biking a while back. The journalists had trouble keeping up with him on their ride...

"Wherever I go, there's my bicycle."

Ride on prezz.

If he got 2 hours a day on his bike and only listened to his advisors while they were forced to ride with him?

Maybe he could straighten this mess his underlings have made of the world out..just a bit.

And don't forget his other saving grace besides cycling. He has solar panels and a geothermal heat pump at the ranch.

Now get out there and open some bike trails and get legislation passed to get more bike trails, more solar panels on homes, and more geothermal home heating.

We could sure use that 15 billion in oil company corporate welfare to help do that mr president.

Take it away from them, give it to we the people to build more bike trails, green home energy, and more mass transportation (with bike racks).
