How about corporate flag pins

It is obvious we live in a corpocracy not a reprsentative democracy so I feel we should fly or wear the flags we live under.

An Exxon pin perhaps, oil corporations have prevented us from developing any alternative energy that they feel threatens them. Even after we had passed our peak oil production and really needed to before we went into crisis mode.

I am a Vietnam Veteran and do not wear the flag, that war was based on as big a lie as the one we are fighting now. Why should I tell the world I was a sucker.

I fought for god and General Motors, in Iraq they fight for each other and Dick Cheney's no bid contracts for Haliburton.

Sticking that flag in my face after what they do with my tax money and with me having no say in the matter. It's an insult

My lapel has all the corporate flags of the 30 or so corporations that call the shots. I am hoping they can come up with one good corporate flag to fly under, its getting kinda heavy.

The eons of time and nature was good to us down here. It was not until we become civilized that destroying our habitat become fathomable or fashionable.

Like Nascar

Somebody (Jim Hightower?) suggested that our politicians should wear suits with the logos of the corporations who fund them, just like Nascar drivers.

Frighteningly, this is becoming more and more true of judges as well---many states have elected courts, and so the state supreme court seats are being auctioned off and purchased by the Chamber of Commerce for the most docile corporate-friendly guys available. It would at least help if their robes had the logos on them so you knew who you were dealing with.

Save your community: Cut greenhouse gas emissions 5% per year.

Patriot?

No patriot would give government the power to chase undefined and arbitrary goals of controlling global climate. Only useful tools would do such a shortsighted and ignorant thing.

Promote the education and allow free individuals to create a demand the private sector will satisfy, period.

History has proven governments always get more powerful and animals adapt to gradual changes in their environment. We are going to voluntarily make government more powerful and still adapt to climatic changes because CO2 last 100 years in the atmosphere. With that longevity we can be assured government will continually move the goal post as generations fade and government gets stronger.
