Not for the first time in Gristmill is it pointed out that the title or epithet "environmentalist" has extremely negative connotations for a lot of Americans.  That was news to me, the first time it came up.  And it remains most puzzling, and perplexing.

"Creation care"?  Oh, sure.  But I cannot imagine Sierra Club or WWF or Audubon or Greenpeace easily embracing the term, and deleting all references to "environmentalism."

  Great interview.  Good for learning anyway.  Hmmm, people really think environmentalists are demons??  Some of my friends feel the same way about Christians.

  Okay we can be "Creation Carers" instead of "Environmentalists" if they will be "Monotheistic Religionists" instead of "Christians".
