why not corn bottles?

i dont understand why they would give up plastic to go to glass, when there is a much better option available! corn "plastic"!
it resembles plastic in appearance and texture, but does not have the harmful plastic chemicals nor the "plastic" aftertaste in the beverage. instead it is made with 100% biodegradable corn!

i am not 100% sure they make corn baby bottles. but there are corn bottles you can buy, along with at least one bottled water company (located here in Colorado) called BIOTA that bottles their water in 100% corn bottles.
