nice title

This post was a little too technical for me, but I support any ban that would "Stick it to Big Meat". I wrote my senators when this was first posted on Grist.

very much too technical for me!

But as always, I am with AMC.

It is strange, having a presidential candidate as one of my Senators. One never knows what she will pay attention to. And especially now that the Iowa caucuses are less than a month away.

It seems that Senators Durbin and Kennedy, and other Democrats, have failed to get the Pentagon budget bill to include an expanded definition of hate crimes, to include crimes motivated by gender and sexual orientation, which had been supported by gay rights groups. The White House and the Republicans opposed it, and Democrats from conservative states did not want to fight for it. With Iowa looming, one rather doubts that any of the Senators who are candidates have had the courage to say much about this.

Anyway, I shall call Hillary and Chuck, with this page open before me.

Chickens are our cousins! So are fish! So are other sentient animals! Let us learn to be kind.
