When it comes to energy use, nothing drives up the kilowatt hours like excessive HTML.

Note my home page for the Texeme.Construct:

Simple. Precise. No graphics.

My page has a carbon footprint that is 2 orders of magnitude lower than grist.org

Green Wash...Workin' At the Green Wash

What does that haveta do with rental cars anyway?

Well, since it's a game of Greener than Thou I thought we should hit closer to home.

Large bitmaps, overzealous java script coding lead to longer downloads, more server utilization, higher storage -- and more Co2 !!

As far as cars, I wonder if they use low energy techniques to wash the cars when they come back -- cold water? Less wax?

Remember the classic from Rose Royce?

You might not ever get carbon free
But let me tell ya it's better than burning gasoline.

There ain't no tellin' who ya might meet.
Leonardo di Caprio or may be even a former Veep.

(Workin' at the) Green wash.
Workin' at the Green wash yeah !

Come on and sing it with me Green wash.
Get with the feelin' y'all car wash yeah.
