It was not a car in the conventional sense.

It was an omni-transfort vehicle which would allow user to travel on land, water or in the air once the physical technology caught up with Bucky's thinking. He designed it to go with his Dymaxion House (now on display at the Ford Museum in Deerborn, MI) so that you could put your self-reliant (not hooked to any grid) wherever you wanted and travel to it without roads in your Dymaxion Vehicle. To me, that is a dream come true.

Cool

Yep Lloyd. That was it.

I still think those floating cities inside miles wide geodesic spheroids was the coolest.

Due to global climate problems they would need to be partially submersible for safety now. Maybe in large inland lakes to avoid ocean storms?

I do finally have a wind/solar powered flight system inspired by Bucky's dreams. It is like an amphibious flying camper.

Maybe Bucky's ghost will send me a winning lottery number from out the interdimensional, timeless ether to fund this effort? Come on Bucky, just do it!
