You are against providing funding to convert coal to liquid, which is century old technology. We know how to do it and it is being done in two countries today. I fully agree.

You favor carbon sequestration, which is just an untested idea? Or, more specifically, you would favor funding research into the idea? Or more specifically, you would support building coal plants with gasification capabilities as a bridge to the day we figure out how to sequester?
