Wait...

So let me get this straight. The Coca-Cola "perfect serve" is ... a coke? In a certain kind of glass?

Also, jesus h christ on a popsicle stick that video is creepy.

David

Since you ask... Coke also goes well with your aforementioned popsicle stick amuse bouche.

Mexican Coke

If Coca-Cola wanted to win back gourmets, they'd sell it with cane sugar instead of corn syrup.

As of now, you can get Mexican Coca-Cola in the classic glass bottles at Costco (or individually at the La Huerta grocery in downtown Kent, WA). Mexican Coke uses sugar instead of corn syrup.

The difference in taste is worth every penny!

You do know that Coke owns Atlanta, right?

Good Lord. The funny thing is that Linton Hopkins is one of the most respected chefs in Atlanta. I left for D.C. before he opened this new little venture, but at his main place, Restaurant Eugene, his ingredient sourcing is impeccable--seasonal, sustainable, and much of it local. He's really active with Georgia Organics, helped start up the city's first school garden, a neighborhood farmers' market, etc.
That's a pretty sick, video, though. I confess I couldn't make it all the way through, and I'm sort of grossed out he's making such an obnoxious alliance with the bastards. Coke's overbearing presence in Atlanta can be nauseating in itself, as it is. If you want a Pepsi, you probably have to drive to Florida for it.
