green foods for school cafeteria

You know, I dont know anything about skateboarding or skateboarding culture. During the anti-war march in DC a couple of weeks ago, we went to get some lunch, and there were a bunch of kids skateboarding on this little plaza near the Mall. As Bob says in his article, they just kept trying to get their maneuvers right. It was very impressive. They also were very polite and aware of people walking down the sidewalk over which they were flying. They'd stop until the people had passed by.

I work in a school for the deaf here, and we have all this property that we mow and fertilize and pulverize with bug and weed killer, etc. I wish the school would start teaching these kids about green anything! I'd love to see these grounds plowed and planted with food. The place used to be a farm in the beginning. Let's take it back and do some REAL EDUCATION!!!
