cash

Oh, I con't know. Seems like 350,000USD in three yrs is a pretty good chunk of change...and without taking any $$$ from the very polluting industries they are up against. Maintaining that level of purity while still managing to raise 350K seems impressive to me. I must say, as well, that their ideas regarding our sexual and human rights are ones that I can't disagree with. The hypocrisy associated with, on the one hand, so-called liberal enviros, and on the other, rejection of the monies associated with Fuck for Forest(ooh, I feel so naughty) is quite nauseating. As they say, sex is a natural, nay, necessary part of our existence. Denying it, or marginalizing it, won't make sex(or fucking) go away. Thank goodness for that. In this day and age when our civil and human rights are being stolen or legislated away in the name of commerce, capitalism, profit, "national security", etc., ad infitum, it's refreshing to see two attractive and enthusiastic people remind us that these rights are closer to the natural world than we'd sometimes like to admit. I seem to remember some political philosopher referring to our rights as "natural". In other words, inherent. The US Constitution(BTW, we live in a constitutional, pluralistic, democratic republic) is, in my opinion and others, only the BEGINNING of my rights as a human and a citizen. I think this may be, inadvertantly, another aspect of FFF's mission: to remind us all that EVERYONE has the same rights on this planet, no matter your social class, geographical location, income, ethnicity(there is only ONE race: human), development status, medical comdition, gender...I could go on. Besides, I personally find sex one of the best ways to remind myself that I am human first--homo sapiens sapiens--and a citizen second. My allegience is to my fellow human beings and other living creatures, not to my job, the corporation, not to my government. To live my life any other way is to be anti-human. That's my political affiliation: humanity. Keep on Fuckin'!

What's the problem?

Interesting concept. Totally laced with subjects for philosophical debate. Porn is mostly a form of surrogate sex for people who can't get real sex. Sure it's fun to look at naked people. I think that it is only people who are really hung up within themselves who have any problem with other people using sex as a form of self expression.

On the other hand sex for money is wrong most of the time in that sex workers are usually abused people in some sense whether they open themselves to that abuse or not so I think the Spitzer reference is out of context to this story.

In this case I think that two people using their sexual selves in a public sense to raise money is not about the sex trade and so it is not wrong at all. If a couple is having sex and someone wants to watch them through their bedroom window who is wrong, the couple or the "peeper"?

And if the couple knows Mr. Peeper is there but decides that they don't mind is anyone really wrong? And if they put a little donation box outside their window and use the money collected to do good work for the planet then it seems pretty win win all they way around.

parity

The young woman in the FFF poster is much finer than the young man. I.e., if aesthetics were the criterion, she should be able to do much better than him as mate.

Which just goes to show: Sure, let people screw as they wish, wherever and whenever. But that should certainly NOT be misunderstood as a substitute for virtue, or wisdom, or enlightenment.

A true humanist would want to say that a good, committed human being can do good things for the forests without f*cking; and in general, a good, committed, creation-loving human being can do good things for all creatures while remaining free of all sexual entanglements.

It is inhumane to say that sex is bad. But, it is equally inhumane to say that sex is obligatory.

"Butter face"

I was rather more worried, thinking how she might react, seeing how her surely lovely nipples were quite covered over by those strange leaves.

Really, it is up to the true appreciators of feminine beauty to let the young lady know that she did not strip (as far as she did) in vain.

appreciators of feminine beauty

I hope I didn't hurt her feelings with my previous comment. Forgive me, I'm not as polite as caniscandida, nor do I have his marvelous way with words. Let me just say that if I were standing next to her, I would surely have to hold that leaf farther away from my body.

I LOVE THIS!!!

This is the first time I have heard of FFF and WOW how cool is that. It reminds me of my childhood in the 70s when my folks were loose and streaked the campground and stuff like that.

FFF thanks for taking the Hippie revolution, which if you have see the History Channel documentary "Hippies" you will know that they started the back to land, honor your Mother movement in this country and keeping that alive in my generation. Being 35 I say "Right On, Keep it Strong!"
