Is it just me?  I do not believe the average American gives a hoot about this Alito guy. Look, they are gonna do whatever the heck they want in Washington anyway.  How is this going to affect my everyday life.  I am struggling everyday to make a living and pay my bills.  I bet if you stopped the average man or woman on the street, they would not know who the dude is and wouldn't care.  

I think all this noise is coming from interest groups, grandstanding politicians, and media people.  The real people out here couldn't give a rat's ass!  Maybe I sound just a tad cynical, but that's how I feel.
