Blog It!

There are so many ways to get the message out. ABC, a failing national network, is just one avenue to spread the message. As evidenced by this website, the world can access lots more information than the old, tired television networks could dream of providing. In ten years, we'll be saying, "Wow, remember network TV?"

Most times for evil to win it doesn't take a large, horrible event; it just takes a lot of people each doing just a little bad.
AOOOOOOooooooooo.........

A lovely dream...

...But take care. It wasn't too difficult for the supra-nationals which now run most of our nation's broadcast, print, cable media outlets to acquire the influence which allowed them to accomplish that task. We must be vigilant against such schemes to do the same thing with the Internet. Control and/or dissemination of information which the global supra-nationals don't like is important in ensuring that we remain a free and unencumbered species.

The mellotron is your friend.

$100,000 could power a solar house

Why talk when you can do?

Al Gore has enough money to create a total hydrogen/solar/wind city in an agricultural area where they could have their own farm/farmers market.

It could be totally off grid, or loosely coupled.

Why not do...instead of say?

In fact, he would be more successful in the real estate business because if he created such a town, many of his rich followers would pay a premium to live there -- or, in the case of Hollywood, they'd by a house and not live there.

Either way...it's better than arguing with ABC censors.

talking, doing

After doing for awhile, one realizes that some of the main obstacles to environmental stewardship (as well as logic in many cases) are due to heavily lobbied-for policies written by and for various industries. Talking about these policies is one way of beginning to deal with this.

Grist Blocks Obamas Horrific Corn Subsidies

Speaking of media blackouts...

Why isn't Grist reporting what the New York Times is reporting?

Mr. McCain advocates eliminating the multibillion-dollar annual government subsidies that domestic ethanol has long enjoyed. As a free trade advocate, he also opposes the 54-cent-a-gallon tariff that the United States slaps on imports of ethanol made from sugar cane, which packs more of an energy punch than corn-based ethanol and is cheaper to produce.
