				<p><strong>Third world and global warming</strong></p><p>There have been a number of reforestration programs going on in India since the early 1990's. It is incumbent on us to recognize the work of Jagat Singh Mehta and his father (whose name escapes me), for their efforts to reduce the stresses of global warming while improving the environmental performance of semi-arid regions.</p>
