No pity for the dealers. They sold and continue to sell products that are destroying the planet, the economy and killing tens of thousands of people a year. They have known this for years and still chose to stay in the business. They have been a big part of the problem and deserve no sympathty.

I have to ask, does Pavley really want to ruin it for the rest of us who like to have fun while driving?

Bill Hicks was onto something. California should fall into the ocean already so they can stop ruining it for the rest of us. And I'll be the first to buy beachfront property at Arizona Bay.

As a kid, I loved to throw rocks at trains and snowballs at cars and buses, just for the thrill of hitting a fast-moving object. Why do you get to ruin my fun by prohibiting me from doing that? And guess what, driving causes exponentially more harm than what I described, which in my case never hurt anyone and at most might have caused some dents to the outside of trains. Driving kills & harms other species and humans, destroys ecosystems, and is a major cause of global warming. If you think this is worth your fun, you need your morals checked.

And please do not invoke Bill Hicks's good name to promote ideas to which he would have been totally and unequivocally opposed. Hicks was a deep thinker (as well as being one of the greatest stand up comedians ever). He would never have supported driving at the expense of destruction of the planet; he was far too spiritual for that.

also the sun will wink out, our legs will fall off, our kids will be infertile, and the ground will turn to powder sucking us to the depths of hell forever, but i guess that's better than having to drive a euro-standard car
