Peterson's attitude is a prime example of what's wrong in Washington. Putting short term gain by special interests ahead of vital and urgent national concerns is reprehenisible.  He deserves to be publicly humiliated in the media.  Any representative that goes along with him should get the same treatment. Facts and not special interests should drive the decisionmaking process on vital matters like global warming.  Such arrogance ought not to be rewarded.
