Why the CO2 reabsorbed isn't reabsorbed by the enviroment at the rate it is released, is likely the lack of long term green space, that which isn't reintroduced into the atmosphere.  It is not a complicated issue to devise a rapid photosynthetic organism that could occupy less space than, say, a forest.  Like a super pete bog.   It would also be easier to recuperate nutrients either passively or actively.

Funny thing about biologists is that they tend to value the natural world and earths creatures and so they would rather see forests restored and who really wants a pete bog?  Another problem is that that pete is a lot less useful than petro.  In fact once all that carbon is locked up in pete it is difficult to get it back out usefully without releasing more CO2 into the atmosphere.  Which may or may not be an issue, if the CO2 in the atmosphere can be recycled in a similar fashion with something like corn ethanol at a rate balanced with the usage of such fuel.  Of course it could be, so the matter is just restoring and maintaining CO2 levels with respect to petro use.

The ocean absorbs a substantial amount of the CO2 regardless so reduced consumption will eventually lead to lower CO2 levels.  Still with populations rising it is important to reduce the impact lifestyles have on the environment.  Reduction of livestock not only increases natural environment space but also decreases other greenhouse gases.

Fuel efficiency is meaningless if communities are poorly planned.  Gas prices are still lower than bottled water because:

Or at least it did for a while.  Now it equate ugly, smelly, light and sound pollution.  It is not terribly economical to be "fuel efficient" if other key factors make more money in the use of fuel.  The strangest thing that less efficient is more efficient.  Which brings us to one of the most divisive points:  combating "global"-warming is not a entrepreneurial undertaking.  Greenhouse gasses are by their very nature a profit margin.  It has been seen time and again that when and where profits are concerned it is an insectous, squelling and clawing thing.  

There are some clever inventors who come up with new ways of trapping gasses, or producing efficient or new energy.  In model and on paper they are profit generating ideas that solve problems.  When they begin to have any real world impact however they meet very stiff resistance.  Small scale solutions could be combined to in effect deminish global-warming.  Real solutions need to be truely global and industry wide simple means that developing nations can adopt as well.  As we stand today in as little as 50-100 years the worlds poorest people will on the very brink of devistation as fossil-fuel prices spike.  Food, water, medicine, transportation and heating, all of these things will be more difficult to come by in nations that do not adapt and perhaps even those who do.

I LOL when I heard this latest propoganda from this owner of global industries of airlines, space tourism company, communication, music and the list goes on.

All this heat seems to be bringing out the cockroaches.

to whom it may concern im writing this letter in regards to the environment.life has like

trillion' of different concepts, and attitudes out there, and most or all have good rime and reason.

thousands of years ago man kind had to adjust and conform to change, but with out these mannerisms every"atom"would be the same.

and like them iam not going to give up on my dreams.

hypothetically speaking i believe, life outside of our orb,is irrelevant to our survival except its existence.

so as that my thoughts and beliefs can be heard i have  written a brief story about my dreams and desires for the ecological problems that mankind face.

this story book comes in three parts.

the first part: is on my thoughts on the beginning of time itself, and why racial violence or war may have started.

the second: is an invention i have put great time and effort into creating and its benefits.

thirly: a brief manuscript about where it all started for me.

im hoping that my thoughts will be great consideration,because unfortunately for me,the under standing of how to succeed in the industrial world is out of my reach.

    The four Unknowns or just the unknowns.

`Deep within us all lays a place for solitude, where we can go to think, create, manifest and finally, do what makes our life as comfortable as possible for survival.

I believe; Life is created by many living (and or) loving Organisms,Scientist would call these aquaion, (the atom)

Which gives each of every creator its (own or our) - unique equality's.

Were all (like) from different cuttings or seeds: and yet (like) plants (for example trees that grow say in Ireland don't grow in Australia:

The same goes for the blood groups of human.  

All of these blood groups at one stage of our lives were separate, growing in patches throw out the lands, like a field of daisies would grow or gum trees in Australia

All with our own (aroma or sent) and sense of smell and direction, enabling us to manifest then manufacture any equation sought for or by mankind, we know all about our selves and what and how to use and obtain all of its products.        

What do we get for our piece of time on this earth, (this also) should be looked upon as a gift, I believe for us to have to look after wherever that may be, being spent

Because (after all life is so special)

Then to look down at the prime example: the opening eyes of your own just born baby's eyes) is seen as the most pleasurable feeling ever to be waited for.

I sit here looking out my eyes and I can imagine all I think.

Through one of our most pleasurable desires "thought." What is it that we have?

2-The ground: beneath accepts and ardors this so we can grow.      

3-The rain: Above ignites this passion.

4-With air the space: between as all.

6-All relevant or necessary for our survival and wellbeing, also    

             Once upon a time

These four unknowns were surrounded by, "what" perpetual darkness; silence, though, pleasure, passion, dreams, desires "or", maybe just what we need to survive.

Like a prism or an embryo, comfortable yet alone, linked together, empty, searching with no knowing of sight or sound, or are they just deep laying thoughts in all of us

(With utmost respect the endless repetitiveness of this is killing,
                              ("Me" "who" "you" "why") is that?
("Me" "what" "no" "lesson") Then they were silent.
                                                  The sounds of these words were deafening echoing repetitively across the seemingly end less stratosphere, igniting new chains of emotions fuelling energies throughout or within.

Then like pin pricks one by one thousands of (tiny lights or stars) appeared shedding even more definition over their existence in which they dwelled or squandered.

Throughout this there could (see or feel) that they were not alone but equations linked together back to back (seeing or imagine or were creating) a large seemingly motionless orb bestowing "them or us" with enormous gifts and beauty.                        

The stars glimmered upon its thick blue icy surface from unknowing of touch (light or darkness) gallant beautiful siren.

Then with a mighty thrust and a crippling roar a blinding light sound, appeared resilient pushing out a intense blistering-heat, of twisting, spiraling particles, igniting space with warmth (above and around)                                                        
Instantly rippling formations started forming, and then the ice began to crack under the enormous pressure from the heat, freeing fictions between the ice and land beneath.

The sun slowly melted through a large section of ice, releasing out thundering explosive sounds Igniting or shattering the ice, oozing, sweating and drizzling atoms of ice melted downwards throw, onto the layers of earth, which lay beneath drying up.

As The suns penetrating rays started piercing deep impressions into the moistening smoldering surface of the orb slowly burning its way into the core.

And as it did the water from the steep icy banks which surrounded this massive crater continuously melted inwards Extinguish and filling, this large inflamed crater.

The weighted water pulled, in turn propelling the orb too slowly spin and as it moved the Sun continued its destructive path, chewing throw vast sections of land faster and faster it spun, until eventually over coming the intense pounding.

Leaving vast open water ways, of bubbling, smoldering, shards of ice and water, cooling rivers, and oceans, swimming, pulling, against, the frictions, of the ice above and swollen water ways and lands below.  

Yet beneath all of this Creating its own energies deep within its core as volcanic mountains started forming, rubbing, and smashing against the layers of ice; which still surrounded the orb as molt and laver spewed out.

(Inducing) out seeds of life, from deep within the belly of the orb, scattering themselves throughout the lands and seas.

 "Excitedly" root systems hungrily gathered the rich minerals needed to succeed in its task or objective, stretching out and stabilizing it's (surroundings or earth) around its master's (embryo or seed) protecting the (love or life) witch laid within.

The first of the plants Grew in the deeper parts of the waterways, under the legers: in the cooler parts were they were protected from the harsh elements, releasing out thousands of tinny air bubbles or oxygen onto the surface.

And as these air bubbles multiplied and joined, they helped to free the frictions between the ices above and the land below, creating a buffer making the atmosphere more pliable.

Tinny organisms were also growing within the abundance of this: plant life under the water (fish for example dinosaurs)

And whilst this was accruing the water levels started to lower, leaving beds or showing sections of fertile land, with seeds waiting deep beneath the safety of the surface.
                                                  Read to burst outwards onto the surface or orb, and as they did, they gasping and gulping for life, as the air was fill with unwonted gases, automatically adapting and working as a filter to clean up the unwanted gases.

The first of these plants that appear were low laying soft yet resilient pockets of fauna, just poking out there peripheral hairs or leaves gradually over time, as other plants grow much larger and stronger.

Buds or flowers started to (grow or form) and within these buds a new species began to emerge, just as the organisms, which live beneath the waterways (did or appeared).

These creators (lived within the safety) or (Were born into the safety) of the flowers
(Im presuming) sheltered there throw out the (days or nights) the bud holding all the necessities and needs to sustain life, protecting (them or us) from the colds or the rains or the heats of the days.

I imagine that it would have been very bright at night with volcanic mountains going off

I can't even begin to imagine the size: of the first human being or embryo, a single atom sitting, moving, sifting through pollen filled buds of plant life, swinging form stamen to stamen licking or sucking like a bee would.

Yet having no real (control or under standing) except taste and smell, even unable to real protection itself from the elements, which May of (lurked or lived) within its domain.

The sent from these pollens blowout over the water ways, and were detected by the organisms, which filled the water ways, absorbing and obtaining a taste for these pollens now going in search of them.

Pull themselves out of the waters climbing the stalks to the top where richly filled buds awaited them, they (too or we) may have evolved from the water, adapting and spending more time out of the waters to feed.

Yet some of these creators were an easy catch for the predators, which live within the buds, but some of them would just eat the whole bud.

Most defying the odds; breeding and growing larger and stronger with every generation

Learning how to communicate plural amongst (themselves or ourselves) (would have been) or (must have been) one of our biggest feet's, should be seen as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.).  

Eventually over time out growing the security, of their place of birth or sanctuary having to go in search for larger dwellings.
                                                  Everything was seen as a potential meal, learning and needing to know how to protect its self from the dangers, which faced them producing the greatest of worries.

                Once upon a time

As I see it, as we started spreading out over the lands surviving, hunting and breeding.

Eventually we must have come across other people, man that must have been a scary thing.

They (must or would) have looked the same as each other, but as soon as they opened there mouths things (must or were) not the same, there was no under standing so what happened don't for getting that, they (are or were) the bravest of worriers.

Retaliating more then likely killing or engaging in battle so some one must have been hurt creating fear or anger.

Running home to their homeland and telling the story of what had just come to pass.

Gathering up their weapons then going in search of each other for revenge of the blood just spilt.    

Millions of days have past since this fist atrocity and strangely or not they still continue today, yet we have come a long way since then and there are no language problems.

 That's how simple life must have been I guess.

The act of keeping or protecting from loss or injury. The preservation of natural resources as forests, fisheries, ECT, for economic or recreational use; also, an area so preservation.

I believe that all I have, to do is just find one (thing) that will inspire or touch hearts, to open minds hopefully to the realization, that something new or radical "must be considered", for today's ever changing environment!

Over the last 100 years we have far exceeded our forefathers expectations, planes, trains and auto mobiles sanitary standards, but even with all these successes, unfortunately we have managed to leave ourselves short, "global warming" but yet still manage to astonish many of our peers with our willingness to prolong our existence, from the back yard inventor too highly regarded men and women of the scientific workings of the world, all dedicated to there chosen arts, all trying to make a difference.

But some times creating one invention could devastate many industries, because of its ability to eliminate jobs once produced, and then this leaves the equilibrium unbalance

Politically speaking if we take away today's desired means of economic sustainability, this could create a downfall in employment and offend many businesses, there for creating more difficulties within society.  

So as not too compromising a loss of jobs within the future, I would love to try, something that could play a tremendous part in strengthening infrastructures, against global warming and create wealth and increase the morel living standards, of every nationality, and bring hope to those less unfortunate.  

By using per-existing means (of not forgotten) but means of transport which we only use in our recreational, army and police training lives, like the one aim going to propose, because of its flexibility to be adapted into any environment or environmental issues which may need to be addressed.  

Now pretend we are hovering high up in the sky with little wings on your backs and
Your only 40 millimeters tall, looking down onto, the roof tops of modern society.

First of all it starts to rain, Of cause we get knocked down onto the rooftop, and get washed off into the guttering system, then down the drain pipe we go, hold your breath, watch out for that left its a do zee, then washed down the street to its lowest destination accumulating and some times flooding can occur, then left to evaporate or washed into a elaborate net work of storm water out lets from our cities.

Now Instead of wasting this water from low lying areas or cities, let's take a detour and put in a three columns pit, with storm water and surge capabilities, and maybe we can fit in a green waste system as well which will also create methane.  

 Then with the "help" from some of those geneses using modern technology, pump these effluents upward into a series of pipe lines, approximately 4.6meters or so above the ground level, then be gravity or force feed, diagonally across streets, so as not to inhibit with native furor as much.

Leading these pipe lines directly, to their designated area, dams, water storage facilities, tips, farmers and countries.

Enabling use too utilize, these three essential rare commodities.

Instead of recycling effluent: or desalination.

And at the same time run new green power supplies, solar paneling, organic matter, or turbines, all optional?

And Telecommunications, Creating a corridor for national security, doctors police, by running separate lines.

Or for high risk bush fire areas, place in water canons or some think along those lines, as long as it soaks the ground or surrounding trees or areas.

Then recycle the old and outdated, telegraph poles and lines plus phone lines, ECT.

Reduce cars from our roads.

By implementing, a new means of transport, at the same time "which I will get to in one minute".

 Because we will never completely, eliminate or eradicate cars nor would I even suggest that as they are apart of our society.

Now as we fly out the end refreshed, pop back to normal size, still got little wings if you want.

Proceeding on looking back over, the path in which we have just traveled high above City Street out of danger from cars and natural disasters.

Enabling us to economize on waste, and renew old and out dated weaknesses within to days society, with out major interruptions.

Get them wings back on, but we better be between the age of "say' thirteen and sixty take your choice, young, youthful, daring and open minded, resilient and strong preparing to take on life's offerings.    

Now I'm going to give you a three wheeler trike, with a catch its hopefully has a flying fox set up on it, so you can put your feet on the handle bars whilst holding onto the rear axles.  

Want to go for a ride, no it's not going to be easy it's got no engine, "but you never know there is a lot of smart people out there" suck o, it's pedal power; you will just have to get fit, cardiovascular work out whilst we go for a ride, or SLIDING as I like to call it.          Maybe we can do some thing like a skate board too.  

Now armed with a new means of transport, "mum - dad" I m going to school now (bye) of to work darling or honey.

 Safety equipment: Hares "can't have you falling off now" trike holder, "that's on the side of your known water proof back pack, for cloths or shopping. (Cosmetics) what ever.  

Then walk up or down the street to a junction point, were we proceed, to climb a ladder or a rock climbing style surface, up to a landing were a "worker" will assist you to, remove your custom made tyke from our shoulder, place it onto a side ramp or junction point, enabling us to peddle off into a web of, a two to three lane velordrome style cycle way, in a semi or fully enclosed pipe line tunnel.

Then to get off use slide poles or ropes down to the ground.

And the ladders and slide poles serving as the means of getting the effluents up there.  

This dose not need to be set up everywhere, low lying points to start following up river and creek systems in the cities were there is more roof coverage to collect the rain water and food scraps, on the roads acting as a barrier, to protect against flooding in places were erosion and tsunami a cur.

Where the high voltage power lines run using the flying fox set up, just build a bit more on the side.   Train lines, express ways all good open spaces.

Using hemp rope and hemp also has very high oxygen out put. The water and green waste can be below on ground level with a tunnel too for the tyke and if we had a water slide system it would be a nice way to cool off heat the water.

This would not only be 90 to 99% environmentally friendly once built, it would also be a FUN. (Way of getting around)

For hygienic reasons, place showers at work places or for well populated areas implement, ample grooming facilities. "Well we do live in a modem day society".

And all these little things will create even more work.

Now to answer some of the questions and criticisms, I most commonly encounter.

What will it look like, do you think people will like the look of a pipe line, running down there street "that is my most hated question. As I believe the benefits far out way what it will look like. "Put in some native breeding boxes have been suggested"

                         How do you plan on funding such a project?

By asking every one over the age of sixteen for one dollar a week "small price too pay".

Im sure that people will give more than that, if they believe that the project will help the economy and sustainability, for future generations to come.

People like Bill Gates, Dick Smith, musicians, doctors, lawyers, exta.

                     What will you receive in return, for your dollar a week?

Well I'm under the impression that if you had no job, for your dollar a week, and with a job unfortunately, and working on a project for the environment and a bit of your time say four days a week.

I reckon a minimum of 350 plus dollars a week. "Depending on what position you hold.

Which would lead to paying less tax, due to not have to pay as many people on unemployment benefits? Subsequently enabling economic growth, or in plain words enabling unemployed people to buy the thing they can not usually afford. This would in turn make growth in our all ready established sectors.          

I have had many conversations about employment and have been told stories about the "facts" that there is a lot of employment but the real truth of the matter is, that when the paper lands on my door step "for example" and I ring up for a job, they inform me that they have all ready have 20 or more phone calls not every one has the same capabilities or qualifications people need to feel comfortable, "I have come to the persuasion that I don't like jobs were I'm confided too small places its all right if I'm by my self" and some people just don't read or write very well, so that gets rid of many opportunity's .

This development will create much employment in the blue collar worker areas and with so many people already holding reputable jobs, so for those holding experience, placement is obvious.      

This is not a job for just one party (to take a hold of and proclaim copy rights to), for it to work it must; far out exceed human's expectations of resilience and sustainability for the future.

Building such a project will profoundly reduce Green house emissions from.

Cars:  "emissions"  

Power stations: "not having to burn as much coal"

By implementing: "solar paneling into the roofing witch covers the cycle way"

Radiation: "From power lines"

Provide: Clean "drinking water"

Recycling green food waste: "by placing mulcher in our house hold sinks"

Will create employment: "In every industry"

Fashion: "will change"

Music: "I believe will move forward"

 Politics (both) Political and universal issues "will have to be discussed"

                                 The possibilities are end less

Once upon a time so the stories go. For example: there was only ever only one way in and out of  Sydney to Parramatta and that was via an old dirt road, now due to progress we have several different avenues, to venture to and fro from major cities.

Keeping cars out of the cities has been an idea.      

Drive to a point where we have got for example a 15 lane cycle way into the cities is my idea.

That's a taste of what we can achieve, little bit unsightly we can work on that someone suggested hydroponics' on the side to cover it up a bit.

What if we put in a plug so when the lines gets full of water we can pull it, and really slide, its all in the preparation we got say two, three lanes, or just run a separate slide modify it.

Once were got this sit up we might be able two dig up a street or two and make water carriage ways float along shore line city streets or when were on holidays wouldn't it be nice at Bali anywhere, I reckon it would take a good hit from a storm protect our shore lines enable us to get out of harms way in natural disasters allowing us to get to safety.

What if we did not go up 2.6meters high, and we just dig up a road our two.
Our build sides on it, like a barrier along the side of train lines, were our high voltage power lines, run down express ways, big banked corners on a tyke or a water slide.

Along for shores, low laying areas: will help with erosion by running drainage systems into low laying areas

Because some people say" the future is bleak and man has all ready destroyed this
Planet", in other words they all ready have us dead and buried. What sort of out look does this send to our children! and we wonder why. (I could say many things, but that's sort of not what this is all about)

To take this to an extreme, if there's far less CO2 in the atmosphere, global extinction of virtually all species will likely occur.  Plants won't grow, herbivores will die off, omnivores won't have herbivores or plants to eat, carnivores will not have herbivores or carnivores to eat, and eventually humans won't have anything to eat, either.  Mass extinction via elimination of CO2!  Ironic given the way CO2 is portrayed in the media.

Why not focus on something that would enable moving the CO2 and concentrating it or containing it in "growing zones" for agricultural plants or in cold areas that could benefit from increased warmth?

Also, since plants take CO2 and convert it to O2, it seems like if the goal were to simply "scrub" greenhouse gases, genetically engineering plants that could suck up a lot of CO2 and output it in a easily collected way (seeds or fruits, perhaps?) might be a good way to do this. Growing them in big cities (think "green rooftops"), which already tend to be heat sinks, would have the double-whammy of reducing electrical consumption for air conditioning and thereby further reducing the usage of carbon-based fuel supplies that are used to produce so much of the electricity around the world. Of course, replacing natural gas, oil, and coal fired electrical generators using more nuclear power would help with that last part, also. And as an added bonus, having hyperactive CO2 eating / O2 spewing plants in big cities would also tend to improve the air quality for humans. And if those seeds or fruits are edible, maybe they can be sold to even make a profit on the green rooftops.  If you're going to genetically engineer the plants to make them work well for this application, then perhaps have them make medicines that could be sold for high dollar amounts compared to simple food.  That might result in every skyscraper or multistory building with a flat roof ending up with at least a few of these plans growing.

Carbon-fixing via plants doesn't deal with the methane, but for that either find a way to collect the methane and use it as a fuel or fix livestock with bacteria or other modifications to not produce so much methane. Kangaroos apparently don't put out methane due to aspects of their digestive system (my recollection is it was something about bacterial flora in their digestive tract, but I could be wrong about that) and there's been discussion for some time about how cow flatulence could be a major source of excess methane.

Rather than thinking of some magic bullet to solve only one problem (greenhouse gases) it seems to make a lot more sense to think "big picture" and consider "environmental engineering" by intentionally modifying the planet's environment in ways that help humans and help prevent harm to the rest of the ecosystem. The technologies to do these things mostly already exist, and many of them could be done quite cheaply. But many (most?) people tend to still be stuck in the "industrial" way of thinking rather than the "bioengineering" way of thinking. As usual, the worst enemy of humanity is humanity itself.
