Dodd's Nod

Chris Dodd endorses Barack Obama for prez

Posted at 11:23 AM on 26 Feb 2008

Former presidential contender Chris Dodd has broken with the wait-and-see Democrats to endorse Barack Obama for president. Obama has been "poked and prodded, analyzed and criticized, called too green, too trusting, and for all of that has already won" a majority of states and votes, said Dodd. See what he did there, using the word "green" as a subtle nod to Obama's eco-cred? Clever.

Imagine

Imagine Chris Dodd as Secretary of State, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, or UN Ambassador in the Obama Administration.

Man.  For the first time in a long time, I'm beginning to feel cautiously optimistic about the future of my country.

How many more days do we have to wait til what's-his-name leaves the White House??
