New CIA campus goes green

Posted at 5:09 PM on 30 Jan 2008

The CIA has apparently been green for years -- yet somehow, nobody managed to find out. But the secret-keepers' Chantilly, Va., campus was just outed as neerg gniog (that's code for "going green"). The new campus is LEED certified and features a green roof, preferred parking for carpoolers, energy-efficient equipment, waterless urinals, and more. We'd tell you more, but then we'd have to kill you. Or kidnap you and fly you to secret prisons offshore to be tortured. Or maybe, just maybe, we'll go old-school and support a coup against you. (But don't worry, we'll buy carbon credits to offset everything.)

CIA lookin' green...but SAIC?

People like to feel good about themselves. Beaurocrats working for the CIA perhaps fancy themselves as saving the world. They are as subject to marketing as the rest of us, and maybe they spend their days researching, so they feel a need to reconcile conflicts such as: I support an administration that's destroying my world; I care about my world.

So of course, if they want to feel hip, and in some measure resolve this conflict they must go green or at least feel they've gone green.

But the here's the scoop. The CIA is now simply a shell. It's insides have been reamed out and replaced by a corporation called SAIC. SAIC is to the CIA what Blackwater is to the US military. It's the well-suited, well-armored, infinitely funded, souped-up version. They answer only to their compatriot corporations...the sleaziest of the weapons makers, oil, etc.

Think of SAIC as a deadly virus and American citizens and resources as its host. Now you've got the picture...

For a real treat, go ahead and look up the connection between SAIC and Diebold...

I am changing the world as you know it.
