Sen. Ted Kennedy endorses Obama

Influential Senator Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.), whose family has long been friendly with the Clintons, has nonetheless endorsed Barack Obama for president. Included among Ted's reasons: "With Barack Obama ... we will make the United States the great leader and not the great roadblock in the fateful fight against global warming." Kennedy is the brother of late President John F. Kennedy; JFK's daughter, Caroline, also announced her support for Obama.

Young people

I liked what Kennedy had to say about young people. That Obama speaks to them, excites them enough that they participate. That makes sense and it's a good point.

Who's the roadblock???

I'm all for supporting Barack Obama but in my opinion this partial quote seems like one of the more hypocritical things that Ted Kennedy could say. I'm a MA resident, have always voted for Kennedy but won't if he runs again. He's the major roadblock in MA for the Cape wind farms! Because it might ruin his view and use of his yacht! I grew up on the Cape, love sailing, love going to the islands but I still want renewable energy! He's the roadblock to in the fight against global warming here in his own state! I hate politicians.
