Prince Charles appears as hologram to speak in Abu Dhabi

Prince Charles recently spoke to political leaders at the World Future energy summit in Abu Dhabi. But swallow your cries of jet-setting hypocrisy: Chas appeared as a hologram. "Scientists are now saying that the problem of climate change is now so grave and so urgent that we have less than 10 years to slow, stop, and reverse greenhouse-gas emissions," said the virtual prince. "Common actions are needed in every country to protect the common inheritance that has been given to us by our creator."

The Prince appeared on Dot Earth also

Andy Revkin over at Dot Earth also wrote about the Prince, and initiated a very lively discussion. Some people got bothered that the server to facilitate the whole hologram presentation had to be flown. Still, it turns out the hologram was a good deal for the environment, since none of the Prince's entourage had to be flown for the affair.

Prince Who?

Why does this matter?  He's a prince, he's not a 'scientist'.  This means about as much as any actor or politician (gasp) telling us their opinion.  If this article really sways your opinion on g.w. then you should take a hard look in the mirror.
