The Godly must be crazy
Yeah this argument almost holds up. The fact that God has given us this world to take care of, inhabit, be fruitful and multiply shows that we should take care of the earth. "No one knows the day or the hour" of Christ's return shows that even though we might think that we're in the end times doesn't mean we are. You took a handful of Christians who "might" believe this and labeled all of us as believing it. How ignorant! Just like the media takes that one lunatic from Kansas who pickets funerals with "God hates fags" signs and draws the conclusion: "look all the Christians believe this!" when you generalize this happens!
"We want to rush Christ's coming by destroying the world that we live in? God does say we have moral responsibilities! And since when could we force God's hand to make him come sooner? He is God! If he doesn't want the end times to come now, then they wont! The thought that Christians are trying to pollute the earth to death and poison our children to bring about death and destruction to bring Christ here sooner is just preposterous. Ask any Christian, "do you think that we should destroy the world to make Christ come sooner?" oh yeah, let's just blow it all up because Yay, I WANT the apocalypse to come upon my children!!??? Like I said, we can't force God's hand and NOBODY not even the Son, knows the day or hour of his return.
