You feel as strong about this as I do. I'm part of a group that's working to make sure that the bill is passed. It's been 22 years since we've had a CAFE increase - ridiculous! Right now it's at 27.5. We're hoping to see it go up to 35 over 13 years...quite achievable.
We're also hoping the renewable electricity standard (RES)go up to 15%. Basically that means that our country get 15% of its electricity from renewable sources. With global warming, the cost of gas, and unstable oil sources, it only makes sense.
