Aquaculture may help fight malaria
I came across some research out of Africa looking at the effectiveness of pond-raised tilapia for fighting malaria - the tilapia eat mosquitio larvae. Seems like a possible 'win win' use for aquaculture - raise affordable protein near people who really need it, in enclosed systems, and help fight a serious health problem, for a change.
