Look at Cuba
Not only can organic agriculture feed the world, organic urban agriculture might be able to feed the world. Case in point - when Cuba was blockaded from the rest of the world, they had to grow all food themselves. For example, 80% of the food consumed in Havana, is grown in Havana. The rest, mainly grains, are grown out of the city.
Obviously Havana has some advantages of a full growing season that northern cities would not, but growing that much food organically in an urban environment is amazing. On Another study shows organic ag outpacing conventional posted 1 year, 8 months ago 16 Responses
