but what is the alternative?
For two years I've been aware of the issue of phthalates in plastic bottles (I live in California). While I am horrified, I am at a loss for the best replacement. My daughter has nursed for 2 years, but of course, we all need water, too. Aluminum is what I have switched to; don't use citrus in it, though. Glass is a wholely unsafe alternative for a two year old prone to physical outbursts and experimental throwing sprees.
