Chaotic systems
To get the picture of predicting chaotic systems on different scales, imagine a candle that emits smoke. The behavior of individual smoke particles is indeed part of a chaotic system, BUT it can be easily understood that a slight wind will deviate the stream of smoke in one general direction.
