Electable?
I think not. I agree with him on several points--especially his opposition to nuclear energy. But he appears to be the "always the bridesmaid and never the bride" type. I think people don't take him seriously as a candidate, but he does serve the role of spoiler well and brings important points of view to the attention of the general public.

I applaud them for thinking of this innovative way to help fund smaller wind farms. I think wind and solar and other alternatives that are sustainable, clean, and renewable is where our concentration should go. In my opinion, nuclear is not an option.

Sounds like it might. Depending on what the membranes are made of, it would be a sustainable, renewable form of energy. I'd say it's worth more research dollars and hope they'll continue working on it.
