i'd have to say - i was a bit confused by the gore comments myself - if it was intended for fun, it didn't come off very well.

this is a great idea. however one thing i'd be worried about is having a number of friends over who are not as "environmentally observant" as me in the hopes of getting them excited about it - but having them feel more isolated and turned off if they can't respond to many of the questions.
anyone who has a held a dinner like this - did you find this was a challenge?

my lists
- i rarely buy local, but think about doing it a lot
- i used to drive 4 hours to my cottage just for the weekend
- yesterday i threw out old food in plastic containers because i couldn't be bothered to empty and wash them
- i only re-use my plastic bags once
- i can't get my mom off bottled water
- i don't compost at home
- not all of my detergents and cleaners are environmentally friendly
- i rarely buy local, but think about doing it a lot
