Power Source Seems to be Key
It seems to me that hydrogen seems to hold a promise for the future. It holds great potential to store energy. However, the real issue is where the energy to get hydrogen comes from. We get nowhere by switching to hydrogen fuel cells that run on hydrogen produced by dirty, greenhouse gas spewing energy sources. Developing hydrogen's potential in the long term seems like a good idea. But in the more near term we need to switch our electricity generation to clean, renewable sources.
