Cease your compliant behavior, it just encourages your 'friend'(s) bad behavior. Next time one throws trash on the ground, be proactive and call them a dirty f****ng pig, simultaneously picking up their garbage and stuffing it forcibly into their pocket (or top of shirt/dress if they have no pockets). If their trash is dripping, all the better. When they react with shock and anger, tell them that you have as much right to throw garbage on their body as they have to throw garbage where you and other decent people want to enjoy a junk-free view.
If a 'friend' calls you names for asking where their recycling bin is, put the trash in question into a plastic bag (which you always carry in your backpack for just such purpose) for recycling later. Then tell them why they should recycle. If they respond with abuse, go into a pre-prepared rant lasting a minimum of 10 minutes describing why those who don't respect the environment on a crowded planet with a large percentage of species on the way out for good are evil / deranged / worse than most animals. If they start babbling abuse at you mid-rant, rant LOUDER so they are forced to listen to you.

Meanwhile our crappy corporate media continue to periodically report on the 'unexplained' beachings of whales and dolphins (often en masse), who clearly are being tortured to death by governments' navies, including the U.S.'s - and one suspects also by the likes of mining companies using sonar to map potential undersea petroleum exploitation areas.
Driving whales and dolphins onto land with sonar is as immoral and heartless as, say, following a person round with a 10,000 watt speaker feedback-howling in their ear until they jump into water and drown rather than take any more torture. Of course Western governments and their armed forces don't the latter - partly because people protest. Let us protest the unnecessary and evil cruelty to the non-human animals dolphins and whales inflicted by unnecessary sonar, until such time as it ceases.
Unnecessary it certainly is; note that navy 'exercises' are mentioned in the Grist report - the sonar could easily be simulated during exercises if navy management/government gave a rat's. Or if they just have to use real sonar, different or varying frequencies? The people hired to kill people are clearly not the right people to be deciding how to treat non-human animals [with due respect to our courageous and necessary fighting forces].
And of course we must not vote anyone into government (e.g. Bush), or enable them to get in (e.g. by splitting the left vote), who is enough of an uncompassionate scumbag to turn a blind eye to such wrong behaviour.
Personally I'm gonna take time to write a letter of complaint to whatever media corporation hosts the next news report claiming 'mysterious' beachings of the innocent animals, hope you will too, dear reader.

Any male who tries to board certain buses in Mexico City is now automatically treated as a molester and refused entry... thanks to the government there having given in to "complaints from women's groups"; presumably the usual sort of crew of man-hating radical feminists.
Even when racial segregation was (lamentably, of course) practiced, colored people were allowed in the back of the bus. Males are hated by feminist bureaucrats more than any minority group in history, so must wait, whether in rain or hot sun, for the 'Inferior Gender Allowed' bus.
Another 'great' feminist idea which will no doubt catch on in time everywhere where few enough males are informed enough to make enough of a hue and cry to stop it being introduced.
If there was a real problem on the buses in question, then undercover police should have been used to make arrests until it largely ceased, not all men discriminated against for the actions of a few with a new gender hate law.
And as usual with feminist legislation, it's the men on the bottom who suffer the most, while the legendary 'privileged males', along with their well-paid sisters, will keep on as usual driving or motorbiking or in cabs or limos. To the feminist mind, a man who is down is easy (and fun) to kick repeatedly and keep down.
Of course, those men who can afford car transport but choose the bus for environmental reasons are also punished for their choice. To the radical feminist mind, all men are evil, and must be discriminated against by more and more laws until they lose all rights and power and cease to be 'dangerous.' This attitude is in fact as sexist as it's possible to be.
This bussing business is yet another testament that Western feminism has no use, indeed all right-thinking men and women must oppose it until all anti-male legislation (i.e. so called 'affirmative action') is abolished. Make yourself useful in the rest of the world where you actually have some use, slimy sisters, while the rest of us establish true gender equality - i.e. equal rights for all.
Guys, if you even hear this or similar rubbish suggested as being introduced in your own area, complain LONG and LOUD, or the bitches will have you walking soon, given their way. meanwhile, you might ask your MP why there are NO shelters for men abused by their female spouses.

Yes, all us males should feel guilty for being born with penises (those evil symbols of oppression) and keeping females down for all eternity (like the ones on the Titanic <lol>).
