- Palin is not smart but she knows how to delight the red neck special interests that already vote on the right side of conservative. The more liberal voters are silently pleased to have her continue the public face she had during the election. She is often very visabily wrong and always over the top crude so she drives the middle of the road voter to the liberal vote. Mccain had a reasonable chance until the Christian right forced Palin on him. Keep at it Sara, you are a real asset to us.On Palin’s book spreads falsehoods about clean energy legislation posted 1 week, 3 days ago 11 Responses
- What does anyone expect? We all know many politicians can be bought by those with money for the campaign. The coal/oil interests have more money than any citizen's or activist's group will ever have so they collect a few pet politicians and get the votes they need. It would be wonderful if this could be corrected. Unfortunately we are asking the fox to repair the broken hen house door.On Fourteen Democratic senators stick up for coal posted 2 weeks ago 6 Responses
I continue to be amazed that well educated, highly intelligent Chinese men can honestly believe the that Keratin, the substance of hair and nails, will effect their ability to function sexually. That is afterall what Rhino horns are composed of, keratin. If it seems to work it is only the placebo effect. They should switch to Viagra which has a clinically proven and very real effect.

The governments worker bees do care and do understand. disposal of leaves
I am serious about protecting the environment. Unless paper towels are really yechy they are left to dry and are added to my recycle. So on composting leaves.....not practical unless you have an 8 x 8 yard. I have a double sized city lot with large old trees. My raking yields four piles of leaves, my height. This is not garden compost material, it is trash. Our town (Plymouth MA) does not provide trash pick-up, we drive our trash to central pick-up locations or to the dump. Yard waste is not welcome on an ongoing basis. Fortunately I have solved my problem, but I say again, composting is not a practical solution to leaf disposal. I have not even mentioned people like myself who do not enjoy gardening so don't garden and don't use compost. A better solution to leaf disposal is needed.
