Al Gore should offer to make himself available as a resource to any current or future President who wishes to seriously address global warming. I think the corporatist response to climate change, once denial has stopped working, is to say, "Well, we'll wait for new technologies to save us," which is to say your "no one" includes a lot of influential people.

It seems to me that you could compete in sports like weightlifting, cheerleading and gymnastics remotely, with enough standardization.
