Simple shoes
"Simple Shoes" have excellent natural fiber/material shoes. Very cute too. "Sierra Trading Post" often has some Simple shoes at a substantial discount. I have two pairs of Simple shoes. Love 'em.

Several months ago the feared 'check engine' light came on in my '97 Subaru. My mechanic diagnosed a bad catalytic converter, and I have not had it fixed since - Oh the greenhouse gases! The NOX! About 4 to 6% of 8.1 billion
My understanding is that about 4 to 6% of the 8.1 billion dollars in tax breaks goes to renewable energy sources or conservation. Granted, I haven't read the bill, which I will do. Since you have read the bill, perhaps you could give me a head start by listing the conservation and renewable energy initiatives in it, and contrasting them to the oil/gas/coal initiatives?
I don't think 'semi-deep ecologists' want no energy bill. I think environmentalists, ecologists and just about any informed citizen would choose an energy bill that promotes conservation and renewable sources and does not subsidize oil/gas/coal. What does Pombo know that I dont know?
Rep. Richard Pombo, the aforementioned virulent deranged anti-environmentalist, also said that oil in ANWR can be developed using modern drilling techniques without harming the environment and wildlife.
Sounds reasonable, but in reality what the hell is he talking about?
Has a new anti-gravity drilling technique been invented, hovering over drill sites, leaving no footprint or impact? As far as I'm aware you still need drill pads and well sites, roads, airports, water supplies, electricity and pielines to move oil and gas.
Am I missing something here?
